Keur Booli Sérer Well

In November 2024, we built a well for the village of Booli, providing its 225 residents with reliable access to clean water. Previously, they depended on water tankers that would only come once a week. This well eased their hardship by creating a consistent water source for the community
We named the well Ayatool Kursi, after the verse Ayat al-Kursi, one of the most powerful verses in Islam for protection and blessings. This well is dedicated to the late Mareme Sylla, who lived near the village.
